Hey Everyone!

Welcome to our latest Medium! There’s a lot to cover with Flight Force 4 — Too much to put on the website or the latest whitepaper so let’s break down some very popular topics in detail today!

-In-game staking and why it’s important

-In-game perks, how they will work & why they are important with your NFT

-In-game boost level and what this system is

Make sure you keep up to date with our other medium articles and discord as we have a lot going on!

First though, lets cover boost multipliers, and why this is HUGE for gamers!

Let’s imagine you start playing Flight Force 4 once the full version launches this year, you have no tokens, no wallets, no NFTs — You like the look of the game, create a profile, download the game and start playing the “free to play” version!

After a few days or weeks, you’re enjoying and getting the hang of the game, earning XP token rewards, purchasing some skins and weapons and progressing into different maps. Each map you go on shows a different “1.0x” or higher icon and you wonder what this means?

This is your rewards boost level. If you are seeing 1.0x, then you are being rewarded at the standard rate. If you see 2.0x, then you are being rewarded at twice the standard rate!

So, how do you get onto 2x rewards? Or 3/4/5x + rewards? It’s a combination of many things:

  • Certain items you purchase
  • Your Kill-to-Death ratio
  • Leveling up to gain access to certain maps
  • Holding certain NFT characters and more!

Why is boost level so important?

In short, it helps you earn tokens faster — The more tokens you earn, the more you can do with them to level up even further and the more you can potentially earn in the game. Boost levels are attached to your gamer profile, rather than a specific character. As long as you hold certain items and characters inside your gamer profile — This will all count towards your live boost level. The boost level can drop too, for example you might be on 2x boost and play on an older map, and your boost level drops to 1.5x, likewise if you can advance to a new map, you might go from 2x to 2.5x on the new map.

This is a way to incentivise gamers to keep leveling up and progressing through the game. Players will need to keep purchasing items and map passes to get their boost level maxed out! Imagine earning a 10x Boost!!

COD Warzone Perks (FF4 will have a similar setup)

Let’s move on to In-Game perks!

In-Game perks are one of the traits attached to your Character NFTs! You can find out your In-Game perk points by checking on Opensea or any good secondary NFT marketplace!

What do they do?

Well, you might be familiar with perks from many traditional games like Call of Duty etc, they include things like — Faster sprint, carry 2 primary weapons, take more explosive damage, faster reload, longer jump boost and more!

Basically, when you go to select which perks you can attach to your character, it will depend entirely on how many points you have available! Imagine you own an X-ion Character NFT which has in-game perk points of 28! Let’s say the perk “Carry 2 primary weapons” is worth 15 Boost points (This is just an example), Faster Reload is worth 10, Faster sprint is worth 12. You would be able to pick any combination of 2 of those 3 perks and activate them on your X-ion character!

There will be many other perks and all perks will be worth different amounts of points. There will also be certain perks that are incompatible with others!

There will also be a little room to improve your in-game perks from the store by purchasing perks packs from 5–20 extra in-game perks. These packs will be available to any character you use and will be added on top of the original in game perk ranking. For example, your favorite looking character has a lower in-game perk rank but you still want to use them and still be competitive — you can now boost your perk ranking. Stacking perk points will be crucial in the game!

Staking will earn more tokens + Much more (See below)

In game staking (Token Locking), and why it’s important for FF4 gamers!

If you are not aware yet, Flight Force 4 will have its own liquidity backed token “FORCE”. Anyone who owns the token will be able to stake this token for more FORCE rewards. However, the benefits do not end there!

There are going to be multiple benefits to staking FORCE in-game, for example, reduced transaction tax, increasing boost level, opening up higher tiers in Domination & Tournament mode for higher earning, random in game item airdrops + more!

Reduced tax on all on chain transactions: If you are not familiar, there will be a small tax on every on-chain transaction in game, this is to create revenue for the game to continue growing and also allow FORCE token burns to reduce the supply creating a deflationary FORCE token. However, if you stake FORCE tokens through the In-game hub, you will get a discount on the transaction tax. The more FORCE staked, the less tax you pay. These will be tiered by staking timeframe and token amounts.

Open up high stakes tiers: By staking FORCE tokens you will also be able to access high stakes tiers in the Domination mode. If you only own an NFT Character and have no FORCE token staked you will get tier 1 access — 0.10 cents of FORCE per kill, but depending on how much FORCE tokens you stake, you will open up higher tiers, for example now you earn $1 worth of FORCE token per kill and so on.

Open up high stakes tournament mode: As above, you can access tier one tournament mode with an FF4 NFT character, but if you stake FORCE tokens, you open up many more tiers depending on how many tokens you stake! This means the buy in for the tournament will be higher, and the prize pool for the winners will be much higher!

In game item airdrops for FORCE Stakers: Another benefit to staking is the in-game airdrops. Depending on the tier and amount of FORCE staked, you will receive airdrops of in game items and go in weekly draws for epic packages and loot box NFT rewards.

One small thing to note is staking will be referred to as “Locking” in game as we continue to simplify the “web3” language for onboarding the masses.
